BasketDudes lets players design, run and play as their own basketball team in a fictitious Association known as the world basketball club. Starting out as a new team players will quickly learn the basics of what is required to build up an all-star squad as they choose the skills, kicked and players for their team and work their way up the rankings. Using courtside strategy, in game action and the elements of trading card games and RPG’s BsketDudes is a form and in-depth sports management MMO.

Starting at the beginning your first task as manager is to create your team, choosing from a selection of premade squads that will suit a variety of play styles over time players can build the perfect team up by recruiting over 70 original male and female basketball stars. Customise them with a variety of hairstyles, tattoos and clothing accessories and then unite them as a team as you equip them with their team kit, the colours and styles designed by yourself as well as the colourful team logo.

The game is played in two modes; manager and player. As a player you will be responsible on the court for playing the game, passing between teammates, dribbling the ball down the court and taking your shots in a fast and furious game. From the court side you will be able to initiate variety of game cards, traits and talents that acts as strategies and boosters for individual players and the team as a whole. These powerful cards are earned by playing games and rewarded at the end; their value is determined by how well a team performs in their match.

At the end of each match a manager will also earn some XP and can increase their level, which in turn offers up new player choices, new game cards, creatures and customisation options. Starting off in the lower leagues players will work up to become an amateur and, pro and then at level 15 they are able to join the WBC All-Stars division. At this point the more competitive side of the MMO comes out as it introduces the ASP (All Star Points) Ranking System, the same as a chess ELO system that uses a players’ wins/loss/draws to work out their ranking within the league.

Players can work their way up through the leagues, those at the top winning league cups and extra rewards, as well as challenging each other to friendly games and entering a number of different competitions and tournaments to prove that they have the best team on the court!
